Castle Kitchen

Located within a 14th century castle, the guiding idea behind this kitchen is to combine contemporary comfort and details with traditional materials and craft. A custom pendant hangs from the ceiling, providing illumination on the work surfaces and stove while also allowing for the hanging of utensil as it was done in medieval kitchens. An expandable workstation creates extra space for many hands to help and a cozy bench is situated next to the traditional Kachelofen that was restituted from another location on the property.
